For all the SPACs are dead talk (some of the negativity warranted), there is still a steady flow of announced M&A activity with 15 transactions alone coming in December.

  • Rice Acquisition Corp. II (RONI) announced a $1.45B deal with NET Power which even included a $35M PIPE, which have been increasingly rare.
  • Golden Arrow Merger Corp. (GAMC) cancelled their extension vote on 12/16. They are facing a liquidation date in March 2023
  • Prime Impact Acquisition I (PIAI) added $0.055 per share ($373k) to its trust to extend deadline out till January
  • Longview Acquisition Corp. II (LGV) decided against extending and instead liquidated its shares early
  • Bannix Acquisition Corp. (BNIX) extended 3months out till March 2023
  • Pacifico Acquisition Corp. (PAFO) used a traditional extension to add $0.10 ($690k) to its trust to extend 3 months till March
