Highlights

DocuSign (DOCU) CEO Dan Springer has resigned and will be replaced on an interim basis by Board Chair Maggie Wilderotter. Maggie, the former CEO of Frontier, is a seasoned director having served on over 15 public company boards since the 1990s. Springer had been CEO of DOCU since 2017 and helped usher the company to the public markets in its 2018 IPO. Growth was rampant, and aided by the COVID-19 pandemic, but has since slowed as office life edges back a bit. DOCU shares saw a 17% annualized TSR under his watch, though the stock has retreated over -70% in the last year.

Red Robin Gourmet Burgers (RRGB) CEO Paul Murphy is set to step down from the company by the end of 2022. Murphy joined in October of 2019 with the intention of serving three years and helping to improve operating efficiencies at the chain. Shares have lagged during his tenure, with TSR down -39% on an annualized basis.
