SPAC IPOs
Two new SPACs hit the market on November 7, adding $300 million in fresh deal capital to the pipeline. Crown Reserve Acquisition Corp. I (NASDAQ: CRACU) raises $150 million, offering 15 million units at $10 each. Each unit includes one Class A share, half a warrant, and a fractional right. The SPAC plans to hunt for targets in pharma, medtech, and healthcare IT—industries where innovation and consolidation continue to create opportunity.

Joining the action, Tailwind 2.0 Acquisition Corp. (NASDAQ: TDWDU) also priced a $150 million IPO, mirroring Crown’s structure with 15 million units at $10 apiece. Tailwind 2.0 is zeroing in on the intelligence layer of energy and compute infrastructure—a timely bet as AI and data-driven energy solutions reshape industrial efficiency. Both deals are slated to close on November 10, giving underwriters a standard 45-day window to exercise overallotments.

The launches put the market at 116 SPAC IPOs year-to-date for a total addition of $24 billion to the market. It remains to be seen if the shift to a more risk-off environment in November will curtail activity in the remaining ~2 months of 2025.
