Daedalus Special Acquisition Corp. launches its $225 million IPO, pricing 22.5 million units at $10 and debuting on Nasdaq under DSACU, DSAC, and DSACW. The leadership team brings real operating and investing firepower: Husnu Akin Babayigit, a global gaming and digital-media builder known for scaling high-volume consumer platforms, and Orkun Kilic, a technology-focused investor with a track record across AI, fintech, and data-rich consumer businesses. Their mandate is to assemble or acquire a high-growth portfolio of AI-powered consumer apps, positioning Daedalus as a SPAC run by people who have actually built, scaled, and invested in the kinds of companies they’re now targeting. This is the eighth SPAC IPO in December.
