Safeguard Acquisition priced its initial public offering yesterday, raising $200 million in gross proceeds through the sale of 20 million units at $10.00 per unit. New America Acquisition I priced the largest of the day’s SPAC offerings, raising $300 million through 30 million units at $10.00 per unit. The vehicle will focus on U.S.-based businesses engaged in domestic manufacturing, technological leadership, and critical supply chains. CEO Kevin McGurn leads the SPAC, which features a notable advisory board that includes Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump. Activate Energy Acquisition Targets Oil and Gas Sector
Activate Energy Acquisition priced its $200 million IPO yesterday, selling 20 million units at the standard $10.00 price point. Under the leadership of CEO Thomas Fontaine, the SPAC will pursue business combination opportunities in the oil and gas industry. The offering follows the typical SPAC structure with half-warrants exercisable at $11.50 per share. Jefferies and BTIG served as joint bookrunners on the deal, which is expected to close on December 5, 2025.
