Item 8.01 Other Events
On April 23, 2025, Jewett-Cameron Trading Company Ltd. (the “Company”) issued a news release announcing its continued progress in its operational efficiency efforts through a combination of organizational changes, process improvement initiatives, and global sourcing expansion. These actions include a reduction of staffing of 20% and the integration of new operational technology, including Artificial Intelligence (AI).
The Company also announced the addition of Indonesia as an international manufacturing source country as part of its ongoing sourcing expansion strategy to mitigate tariffs and improve scalability.
