On May 7, 2026, Armata Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has granted Fast Track Designation to AP-SA02, the Company’s intravenously administered Staphylococcus aureus (“S. aureus”) multi-phage product candidate, for adjunct treatment of complicated bacteremia caused by methicillin-sensitive S. aureus or methicillin-resistant S. aureus.
